As the Crow Flies
Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 12:35PM This fountain is paired with a nearby birdbath, making the crow look as if he is about to flit over to it. 
It stands beside a kiosk on Aeschenplatz, an extended round-about with tram lines weaving in from all directions. The live birds that make use of the bath simply add to the commuter hubbub. The crow was made by the Swiss artist Armand Petersen in 1925.
